Just had a free voucher for £75 for google Adwords, so set up a campaign to come to my store on ebid - hopefully that will help a bit in getting traffic here

how did you get the voucher? are they availible to everyone?

It just came through the post - seems to be a UK only mailing.This was the link: http://www.google.co.uk/intl/en/ads/...rtnow2011.html but you shuld not use it without a voucher code or you will be charged

Incidently Bing do a similar thing and it is very much like Ebid is to Ebay. Bing is a lot cheaper - but less footfall so if you are thinking of click ads that may be the way to dip your toes

I have used Google Adwords

There is a great art to it, and I found it to be a waste of time.

But Google make millions out of it so it must work for some companies

Be careful that you don't run a campaign for too long or you will end up owing them money as they don't always send you monthly invoices!

Got caught out like that after trying the free voucher from a computer magazine (adwords uk) - had a sudden run of clicks and they don't let you know in advance when your balance is about to run out.
Got a handful of orders from it - linked to a page about my zine and how to buy it that linked to here, at least one person signed up here specially instead of just paying directly via paypal.
