Welcome to ebid. Read the forums for tips on promoting your listings. Use the HTVs to set up your store [click help at top of any page or use link below my signature]. If you get stuck, come back to the forums and ask for help. We're a friendly lot.!

Hello everyone. I am online seller from San Diego, CA. Have been doing this for over 10 years now at "the other" site but the fees have pushed me away from it. Hoping to make ebid my new home.

Here are my basic tip for new ebid members

Join as a Seller+ for lifetime if you possibly can.
This gives you the best deal and also makes you commit to selling on ebid.

Add a pic in your About Me page
And some info on you and your shipping and selling policies in your About Me page.
Add gallery pics to all of your listings
Make your lists BIN for 7 days with 10 auto-relists, that way they will get sent to Google GPS and they will rise up in the ebid listings and they will get seen.

Post in the forums (get seen and get known)
Post in the Plug Your Auction forum (once a day max)
Don't expect huge sales in the first week

Hi, I'm new to ebid, just registered yesterday, so thought I'd give it a try...
I'm fed-up with high listing and final fees from the other well know auction sites (greedbay)lol

Hopefully ebid can tempt more people to change over and become a serious contender to the others.

Welcome to all the newbies!! Glad you are here! Go to the help button, top right of page, click - then look at left hand column of the page it brings up. You will find lots of FAQ's, video help, and a list of do's and don't...........also check out the different forum threads for help. Astral and bykimbo and others have made several great threads full of helpful info. And don't be afraid to ask questions in the forums if you can't find the answer elsewhere. Remember, you can put a post in the Plug Your Auctions thread one time every 24 hours...........otherwise, the forums are for chat, not advertising your goods.............best wishes and happy sales to all!
