Question So anyone using this clixgalore

    http://uk.ebid.net/help_affiliate.php#2

The link from ebid takes you to clixgalore, just wondering has anyone used it, completed it, having any success with it or not?

Yes I have signed up, but both the site and ebid have to approve you or you dont even get a look in. Not had chance to add any of their links to my website yet so cant say if it would be worth while or not.

Didn't ebid say they were working on a deal with clixgalore in their last newsletter ?

I imagine we will have to wait until they announce it ?

Nope it looks like the deal is with another company, Commission Junction.

So it looks like it is not worth joining the clixgalore one.

Yes I've been promoting eBid for some time via the clixgalore scheme and earned a few hundred pounds along the way.

The Clixgalore scheme works fine and their payments have been reliable. The clixgalore scheme only rewards you a little for each new account opened rather than paying you any revenue share for driving buyer traffic etc. As a result I've tended to target my efforts to promote eBid to potential sellers rather than promote any specific listings or product categories to buyers.

There's been no specific details announced about the new CJ scheme to my knowledge although the newsletter wording suggested it is again going to target new accounts with, perhaps, a more generous payment if you introduce Seller+ accounts.

As with most relatively low paying affiliate schemes you will need to have web pages that attract decent volumes of relevant traffic if you want to generate a regular worthwhile income from eBid links alone.

So you need your own website to sign up?

Odd with all the other forms that can use those links in the modern world.

Emails, blogs, P2P and the other hundred or so things that could be used.

No. Just the ability to post links in relevant places. You can set up a blogger site, for example, add content and links. Start a relevant email newsletter including links (but you still need to advertise the newsletter somewhere) etc. etc. etc.

Quite right, there's a multitude of ways to promote any affiliate scheme's products or services but to earn a regular worthwhile income you will find you need relevant, useful content somewhere to attract potentially converting clickers. Using a shotgun approach to spam links all over the net wont achieve much.
