You cannot get insurance for First Class International Mail.

Sometimes, depending on the weight of the item, it is cheaper to use Registered mail.

I think I'll be using either First Class Registered with possibly an extra postal insurance on this one, and Priority Flat Rate with postal insurance. Am I correct? I really don't want to use Priority Variable Rate with international shipping (but will keep in mind though if the price difference is not too much). Or else, Parcel Post with postal insurance (and prolonged delivery times). And will not ship any breakables international.

Too bad DC is not available with the International Mail at all.

I will have to up the shipping cost for the buyer as I am not eating this one (extra shipping cost that is). I sometimes offer free shipping domestic, but by no means international.

As far as third party insurance, I think the requirements are the certain amount of sales in a time period, and I don't have it. So far have made one sale here on eBid. But will check it out.
