As far as I know, nobody can bid or buy if there is a holiday setting in place. People can look, but not buy.

You can't bid on a Buy Now at all. If you mean can they pay after they've *bought* if you set a holiday notice afterwards, then yes I can't see that a holiday notice would have any effect on paying for finished listings.

I know items can not be bid on with a holiday setting in place.

I am going on my hols next week.
Buyer does not want to wait for my return to purchase the item.

Buyer wants to do a BIN before I put my holiday setting on.
Then pay for the item in a few days time ( pay day) after my holiday setting is in place..
Was not sure if the buyer could click on the paypal button once the holiday setting is in place.
O/H will then post the item on my behalf when the buyer pays in a few days time.

It *shouldn't* be a problem if the invoice has already been sent but you could play safe and also send an invoice direct from PayPal or ask OH to do it if the buyer runs into a problem with the eBid invoice.
