Well, I can see that everyone is totally underwhelmed! I was actually quite pleased with my purchase - won't tell you what I paid but I saw another at an antiques fair for 23 times more! This machine was available from 1940 - 1952 and so it pre-dates me (just!!).

I'm impressed with it, Corporal Pipeau. Beautifully vintage; love the style and colour of it. Very different.

My husband was very interested in it and went off reminising about when he got one in for repair he had to get the spares direct from Switzerland............sorry I did't say, I am only popping in and out of the forum between moving fabric up and down the stairs

Thing is, Cornish, HQ might just promote her to fill the vacancy when they demote ME. I woke up this morning to find out that one particularly cheeky repeat offender had swanned off with 200 rings last night. Who was supposed to be on guard duty? I've spent all day frantically photographing and listing in an attempt to fill the holes in my shelves before HQ notice. Budge up at the bar, I think I need a keg or two to get over this.
