Hi,
I sell in the United States. Can I still accept PPPay for payments or is it just for outside the U.S. ? I was reading it and it sounds like it is for everyone but I just wanted to make sure.
Sorry - I don't useit and don't know, but someone will be along who does know......all the best! Keep warm!
Ta-Ta for now!

I don't think it works for the US (although it does have a USD tab) as it only transacts in GBP and Euro.
As 'Babe' says, until the owners sort it out (and I really wish they would) it can't be recommended and is better left alone.
It says if you register as just a seller (not a seller+) you have to get payment by PPPPal...can only accept PayPal if you have a seller+ account. Now this thread says US cannot use PPPPal....so where does that leave us newbies who do not want to have a paid seller (seller+) account until we try a few listing and get a feel for response. This site sounded good in their intro but upon registering for an account it is starting to sound like the other auction site...all about fees except this one wants theirs in a chunk up front.
There is nothing to stop you accepting payment by any method you choose - via carrier pigeon if that is your wish.
I think what you are referring to is integration.
As a basic seller account holder only PPPay is integrated into eBid. Any other payment method you have to transact yourself. So, for example, using PayPal you would have to invoice and process the transaction from within PayPal. If you had a Seller+ account then eBid would interface with PayPal to do that for you.
Only you can decide if eBid's fees seem reasonable and fair to you - but I disagree with your initial assessment.

Ebid is good, and I cant help you about PPpay from the US etc.
But I do think the opening account terms could be simplified, it does seem to cause some confusion.
I'm like you I joined on a monthly basis for a few months, but I am sure I accepted payments for my sales via Paypal, as I did not open a PPpay account.
I spoke to my Feng Shui master about ppPay - he looked at the name carefully for several minutes, then stated the name was sure to cause many false starts for the company and should be changed, because it seemed like a stutter.
Just wondering if PPPay works on PP Island in Thailand?
