Good morning! And it is cold. When I started here at 4am (I know it's a crazy time) it said -11, now it's dropped to -13!!! I have managed 2 new listings, but now it's time to venture down the stairs to the canteen and see what warming things I can offer. Coffee and tea of course, (I wouldn't mind a tot of rum in my tea today) and I think there is a fruitloaf and some croissants. I must also venture outside to feed the birds and squirrels (I feel cold already)

Just to continue the fed up theme, I am well fed up. It's supposed to be the busiest week in the market and i can't even get the car out to attempt to go. Still snowing. Made me feel a wee bit better when i phoned in and they said the conditions were diabolical and there was nobody else in. Boooooooooo !!

It's cold this morning - but not as cold as it is there by the sound of it!

The forecast is for rain and I hope they are right (they rarely are) as all this white stuff needs to be washed away by this evening as a very important 2CV is coming through from the UK! That's if it can complete the journey from London to Portsmouth OK this afternoon! The ferries appear to be running to schedule - unless the sea freezes over!

-10c here - brrrrrrrrr but cars are passing the house very, very slowly. I have to be in work later, so have to defrost the car first!

We have visitors coming over by ferry to Dover on Christmas Eve - will they get round London and the M25 ???

My Pipes that drain the water from the sinks upstairs and bath are frozen, can't have a shower or bath, had to use the kitchen sink to brush my teeth.

About 3 " of snow fell yesterday but no more overnight so the Cadets are off to school.... Church Service at 10 am (Alex in choir, must be there, he likes an audience the little show-off.. India singing with her class (she don't care, she gets bored halfway through the carols anyway but she does smile - under threat of death!). So unlike poor Buttons am off for a shower and then off to do me duty. Planning on a lovely quiet afternoon in doing some listing....
