Don't you find that the traffic sites waste an awful lot of your time, for sparse results?

I'm using one traffic site to promote ebid's name. I don't expect to make sales out of it, so there's no pressure for it to perform in that way, it's just a bit of general promo for the good of all that I don't mind spending a few minutes a day on. I consider it harmless at worst, and may do a little good if I'm lucky.

I went fourteen pages through shopping auctions and still have not seen ebid. If you are going to add ebid to these then I would consider the way people search, as going through those pages I noticed ebay under each letter but eventually had to do a search for ebid. I was never going to make it to "e"

But the problem I find with most of these sites is they tend to have a lower page ranking than the sites they are promoting, which makes me wonder how they are going to bring more buyers to your site?

The one above is 3, I had my website at 3 without spending any money and ebids is 5.

Anyone know how they would intend to bring people to your site?

To me those sites are a hopeless cause.

Its hard enough to get shoppers to ebid, let alone to an unknown website and then to get them to find your shop in amongst thousands of other ones !

The visitors to those sites will be other sellers, desperate to sell something themselves.
