About This Store - which store??

A very easy way for all sellers' stores to be promoted is for Gazza to change the "About This Store" drop down. A potential buyer is already on one of the seller's store pages - why not attract the buyer to the other stores? This has mystified me ever since the change was made. Goodness knows, we could all do with more buyers viewing, and hopefully buying.

"About This Store" - I cannot think that the buyers are particularly interested - after all, they are already at the store.

Please Gazza, reconsider this - I remember that there was quite an outcry when this started.

At the moment, the About This Store drop down reveals when seller was last signed in, which is the bit I like. But I would also like to see all my others stores listed in that area, like we used to have it. I'm sure it will come in handy for buyers when looking around my stores, perhaps leading to multiple purchases. My sales are picking up quite nicely and regular now, so any added extras can only help boost sales.

But all this info was on view on each and every one of your listing pages before the ?last upgrade - the buyer didn't have to go searching for it as they do now.

So add me to the list to have it all back permanently on view.

Granted, but how many buyers do click on About This Store??? What reason would they have to do so? Why leave it to chance when it would be so easy to display all the stores like they used to???

It's been like that a long time.

The permanent display of other stores and other information disappeared from view during the revamp when many eBid pages were de-cluttered. I can see the logic in that.

The problem is that on that and many other drop downs (e.g. Populate) there is no indication that it is a drop down. There is no indication that clicking on it will do anything - made worse by the removal of the usual indications that a piece of text is active (underscore, change of colour).

It is simply not intuitive and needs something adding if they are going to defy convention- e.g.
