Just noticed that you can add google friend connect to your about me page, and for those that offer discounts and other stuff through the about me page it will go across to the persons blog newsfeed, so that they get updated on your special offers and other promos that you use your page for.

maybe worth trying if it aids your methods or if a lot of your users use blogger.

Just google Google FriendConnect to find it and it is a simple case off adding your about me page name and address and then eventually copy and paste the code to your about me page after you tweak the colours to suit.

If you look at the page after you sign in the second time, or if you go through the process they actually have other stuff that sellers may be able to use Send a newsletter and what looks like a questionnaire, that you can create, and then the data is moved to the community data section for interests.

Never tested any of it, other than adding it to the about me but it may be of use.

Question: How do I locate the URL for my About Me page? Sounds like a dumb question, but when I click on my About Me page the URL I get seems to not be 'right' as I am logged in to the site as a seller...make sense? Help, please, and thank you!

Well, I just joined Google FriendConnect...fairly easy to maneuver. I found it very interesting that they allow us to pose questions to visitors/users and we can even do polls...nice setup I think! Visit my About Me page and you'll see the link setup there...hey, join while you're there...I need some 'friends' !!

Click on the link here, under your avatar and the page you're taken to is the right one. As long as you're viewing the page, rather than going to "my ebid > my all about me" (that's the maintenance route) you should be fine.
