HELP! Can't Post Photo in All About Me page

Please help. When I try to post phot in All about me page-- in comes up with a ?. What am I doing wrong? I'm not sure how to tell the correct size.
Any help in understanding how to do size correctly?
Sorry new--- I tried putting photo in my gallery--when you hit choose it only seems to go to my computer.

The image does need to be located on your computer - which is why it takes you there to upload it.

The image displayed fits within a 300 x 300 pixel square (approx) so any image over that size is a waste and will be downsized. Better to do that yourself as you can usually do a better job of it than eBid's software will. You can use just about any graphic/photo application to do the resize. If you don't have anything suitable then Irfanview is good and free for non-commercial use. Available from http://www.irfanview.com

Safest format of image to use is .jpg - others, such as .bmp, .gif may work but if you ever find yourself having problems then best to fall back to .jpg

Sorry, my knowledge of MACs is slightly less than my knowledge of Quantum Mechanics. Someone else may jump in and help.

If you were able to upload the image to your Gallery area though, which I think you implied you could do, I wouldn't have expected you to have problems uploading it to your About Me page.

I think GIMP works OK or you could try Paintbrush,
FuturePaint or LiveQuartz, all are free
