When Jean was 4 or 5 (about 35 years ago now!) there was a Dr Who exhibit in Blackpool - entered in the dark to be met with 'exterminate' - it was brilliant - we both nearly lost it ! Happy days.

I used to hide behind the settee when the Daleks appeared.
Missus managed to talk me into coming out to watch them a couple of weeks ago tho.

I used to be more frightened of the cybermen, but that used to be in the early days when they used to talk in a whispering menacing voice, somebody then had the brain wave of giving them some throat pastals which makes them sound more electronic and in my opinion not so frightening (or is that because I'm a tad older these days ?!) !
