    I think you are a lot closer to the truth than you think Spyder ,I can see it reaching a point , very soon , when the people will take more action against this kind of thing....it is way past time when the public were thought about and not the criminal....and we should bear in mind , in the states , the victim is allowed to hit back...papa.

    I think it's an adrenalin thing. When you get angry the adrenalin level rises and you tend to react.

    I've been in a similar position several times (once with a gun pointing at me) and after, when I've calmed down, I've thought "What a bloody idiot, anything could have happened", but it didn't stop me the next time when the adrenalin was flowing again.

    Exactly. What a risk. A woman I know was robbed at gunpoint in a when she was clerking at a store. Guy had gun to her head, but decided to take money and run. Got caught and told cops he would have easily shot her. No problem, no remorse, if he had the time he would have shot her, etc. An absolute crazy. That is not the guy to go running after.
