Quite possible, but there is of course the one irrefutable fact that no one has or can deny, and I personally think that is the one that angered most people.

Anyone want to borrow a stubborn, strong willed bitch for a while? Xcess? and no I don't mean me.

Hours ago I made a cup of tea and pulled my armchair up to watch the fun. I've bet myself the thread will last for about 30 minutes before being pulled, once it gets started.

I also promised myself that I would keep out of it.
Opps!! That promise didn't last long

Yes it is true . . . but it is also hindsight.
I bet they bitterly regret every moment of that awful night.

They made a mistake anyone of us could make!

It aint bait. Not at all, I'm just trying to show how easy this kind of thing can happen.
You can bet your life that the Mcanne's blame themselves for everything! they will be wishing they had done things differently, anyone would. But it aint us is it!
It's them that have to go through this guantlet of hate and suspicion where every man & woman's hand seems to be turned against them!

They deserve at the very least sympathy for their loss, and benifit of the doubt for any questionable action they may or may not have taken.

Finally. Ir's so comfortable in your armchair. Imagine the pain of innocence on the rack of public opinion!

    Okay I take the bait

I had mt first child at 17 and guess what I knew even at that age that you do not go out and leave 2 babies and 1 toddler on their own.

Yes hindsight is a wonderful thing shame they didn't use thought.

I have kept quiet too, but it isnt hindsight- it is common sense, you dont go out and leave your kids on their own, had it been over here and they had popped across the road to a neighbours they would have been prosecuted for negligence.
Yes we all know it is sad that the family have been broken up and we all wish that one day Maddie is returned, but heck how many other kiddies go missing, how much press do they get? the whole thing really racks me off.
