Quick Question

As I pretty new I wondered if someone could answer this question.

I have my auctions listed as standard with the small camera icon shown.

If I list or change them to a gallery auction is this free?

And is there extra cost ONLY if item sells.

Okay that's two questions.

Hi Chipsquad , I'm new on here as well , but as far as I know...
1) Small camera icons are free.
2) Gallery is 2% or 3% Depending on which seller status you are on.
3)Yes , cost as above.


WOW!!!! , My first bit of advice given on eBid !!!. I f I've got it wrong , someone will tell you/me !!.

Same with me , no picture , no look !!.
Thats why I've done all my ads with pictures...eve though it does 'cost' a massive 2% to me !!!!.

But when making a listing is states a charge of £0.05 if you are starting something for 99p But is that charged to you from the off or when the item sells.

I look at e-bid invoices but do not see a charge after I listed as a tester with a gallery pic.

Basically I edited one of my auctions and updated it with a gallery pic so if I am understanding this right I would have been charged 5p but that does not show in the invoice section?

Getting a little confused as I see somewhere on the boards that you will only be charged for the gallery pic if your item sells.

Hi Chips squad , As I said ,it depends what seller status you are . 'Lifetime+' is 2% sales fee including 5 pictures. Lesser status , you have to pay for certain things/extras.

Okay, I'm not the "expert" that some on here are but here goes--------you are signed up as Seller. I'm not sure but think you have the extra charge each time it relists.

If you upgrade to Seller + Lifetime you are only charged 2% of the final price when your item sells. I does not matter how many times it relists it is a one time charge.

This is why so many of us choose to be Sell + Lifetime, feeling it is worth the one time fee.
