Template = problem = Ninja Lister

I have tried to use the NL, but i can't create a Template that i can just use for every auction. Also, cant duplicate the record, do you know why? and is there a way to fix this? ..... not sure if I am doing something wrong... or the system is set up that way.

When you say you cant create a template,What do you mean?
Template - a listing with prefilled information (standard) that is used for every listing for example shipping information is pre-filled so i don't have to type each and every time new information. That way it will save me a lot of time. If all the fields would be typed in with information - i would just fill in all the missing parts such as title, category and description. The rest would be already done for me instead of me typing it every time i create a new listing.
I've just tried this:
Create an auction set called Templates
Create an auction called template01
Copy the auction
Go into another set
Paste the auction
I could now fill in the variable details.
Seems to do the trick.
I do copy and paste stuff but it can get muddled up and have caps on with underlining thats the only problem i tend to get.
I'm not suggesting one pastes odd bits, or the contents piecemeal. There is the option to copy the entire record, and paste it in a single drop. I'd be surprised if that caused the same problem, since one does not go near the editor to do it.Originally Posted by RCSToyWorld
I have a similar problem. If I try it as you suggest Kimbo i.e. Copy from Templates set using the right mouse key and drop down list, I cannot paste in another set using the drop down option, it does not work, you have to use the keyboard Ctrl-v buttons, that works.
I think this has been mentioned before but it has not been fixed yet.
Hello, I was one of the people having trouble before. It was fixed on one of the updates with Ninja.
Works ok my side.
