Thread: Advice on stores.

  1. #1

    Question Advice on stores.

    Hello all!

I am thinking of opening a store as I have lot's of motorcycle parts to sell.

I had (have??) an account with the scum sucking, bleed you dry blatent thieves at greedbay. (sorry) and they insist I supply a VAT number? (what's that?) and upgrade to a business seller. No can do. The account will be closed tomorrow so they tell me!

So if I open a shop, will I get the same treatment? Or can I just list all the items, and there is a lot of it, on this site without the rip off fees and grief?

Sorry for the rant, I'm fuming at the moment.

    Oh, and hello all!

Hello and welcome (Sure that's been used by a well known comic!)

Good to see you on here - It'll be good to see even more specialised stores on Ebid, as it will certainly draw more and more interest from the buyers, I realy do think that things are realy starting to move in the right direction on here - I've noticed a definite increase in my sales over the past few weeks, and it doesn't feel like just a blip.

Any help you need - Just ask, because there are loads of folk on here willing and wanting to help you suceed - Because at this stage the better you do, the better we all do, so it doesn't feel as though we are competign against each other, even if we are selling similar items, we're all working together to make it work.

    All the best
    Jerry
