Whats with all the bad photos

Scanning is great for figuring out tiny lettering on jewelry and watches too. And for blowing up small old photos so you can see details better.

If its small, and it doesn't have to be coins, try putting it on your scanner. If the lid won't close, don't worry, put something over the back of your items, such as 2 pieces of white legal paper and a few times I remember using a light blue pillow case. Whatever works. Small items will show much more detail on a scanner opposed to a camera.

Actually my scan is specially adapted with a black background. It stops show-through when your scanning antique prints. It works well with black though. First effort below.

It's not just small objects either.

Tried to look at a over sized handbag the other day~ no luck~ brown blur and nothing else.

You need good pictures to sell on line.
