Yesterday i was unable to get on most the day, reason why i could'nt log in was

Wrong username or password. You have used up your failed login quota! Please wait 15 minutes before trying again. Don't forget that the password is case sensitive. Forgotten your password

fine but that was the message when i first logged in

I then gets an email from ebid ..... thankyou

And this is what it said

Someone has tried to log into your account on eBid Meetup with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes.

The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: XX.X.XX.XX (taken ip address out but if you want to check it you can pm me)

I decided to do a check on ip, and guess who it belongs to

Hmmmm

Thats in houston Texas
? is why would they wanna go into my account why keep trying,

They've been having some problems in this area, I think. I've been forced to change my password today, and re-register my email. Now this *might* have been a genuine case of my email failing, but it's a bit of a coincidence.

i was getting that message yesterday afternoon too- reported it to support and it was soon sorted but no explanation as yet so i assumed it was just a glitch.

When I tried to log into forums yesterday eveening they were down

The reason was they were updating security so maybe there has been a security breach somewhere

I had it too yesterday - thought it was me keeping making mistakes! although did wonder how! However I didn't try again during the following 15 minutes and everything was okay later during the evening

The isp is not your house it's your internet service providers,, which may well be located in preston
