OH thanks for bursting me bubble Hangers

papagran I suspect ebid is a forum for selling & as such it's up to it's members to make the best use of it.
You can bet your life that if ebid top brass knew the magic formula they would employ it in a heartbeat!
I suspect the magic formula is our own hard work & persistence.

I would like to think that any growth in listings is being offset by a reduction in rubbish, but perhaps that's a tad optimistic? They did say they were going to purge dead accounts recently though, so maybe that's it.

Meanwhile, I've been out all afternoon, but I'll try to catch up and list ten things in the next hour or so.

I wasn't suggesting we should try to reach THAT figure of 30 million. Totally unrealistic What I was saying is that while their figures dropped by 4% while ebids only grew by 0.06%.

I'm suggesting that we put more work into improving our own stats!
and 1% is a lot less listings on ebid!

I know I have a few more items I want to list - It's whether I get the chance to photograph and describe them in tiem.

    I will try to though.

For those who aren't fussy about filtering what I sell - Take a look at ALL my stuff above. - But for more specific listings, take a peek in the stores below.

TOY-PALLOI - For all sorts of traditional playthings!

THE PAPERBOYS PLEASURE - For Books & Magazines

    OUT ON THE FLOOR - For Records - (mainly 1950's - 60's)

    VIEWPOINT - Photographic Equipment

THE SCRAPYARD - Spare parts for old cars and bikes

No, I don't think so. For the last year they have been well below 25, often at 23 or 22 with zero % growth. Five years ago it was 100 million auctions a day. And their stock is still holding steady. Figure that one out, the stock holders seem ok with their growth?
