Anyone know what this Gazza new feature means?

Sorry if this is a repeat question... my ability to search the forums today has vanished. I thought the most logical place to look for this answer would be in this thread. I didn't find the topic here.

I use the bulk upload frequently, although not since this has been added.

When you do a bulk-upload, your items are checked to make sure they are ok.
The file then sits there until you make them live.
I should imagine this box will just make them live as soon as they have passed.
