A big welcome to all newbies

    Thumbs up Hi.

    I'm another refugee from you-know-where.
I may be a newbie here, but not to online selling. (My feedback rating "there" is 466 (100%), and also 100% on A$%^&*^).
Anyway, I've migrated my listings here, and I'm shutting down my "other" shop at the start of next week. How DARE they double the shop fee, and QUADRUPLE the listing fee? I'm livid!)

I suspect that I will not be alone in migrating..

Anyway, rant over. Here's to a new era.

I'm located in the North-East of England, btw. And it's raining again.

Welcome to eBid, sorry to hear you've got rain, must be the left overs of ours
OK to help you get started add a signature link to your posts so us nosey lot have an easy link to your items whilst reading the forums, read this thread http://helpdesk.ebid.net/showthread.php?t=100959 then fill in some info on Your About Me Page so people know about you as a seller. Perhaps buy a few things to kickstart your feedback over here, always looks better than a zero, ( I have some nice cheap prints ) have a look at my listings to see how I dealt with the zero feedback problem when I started.

Then email all YOUR (not Greedbay's they are a venue, they keep telling us) customers, and tell them where you are, give them a link to your listings. Grab the records while you can and from paypal records as well. That should keep you busy for a bit, and shout if you need a hand. Additional body parts incur a small fee Oh and finally read the forums there is a lot of useful information on here.

I just shut down my store on the farside. Welcome to a great site that is heading to the top of the list for auctions!

    Cool Nice 'n slow?

Real nice people here but a sale would be nice too.
Reckon eBid wouldn't exist if nobody sold anything here...but patience may be required

    Hi all,
This is my first time on ebid. I am so happy to find this auction. Having forums is much more than I hoped. I still have to look around at the auctions, but thought I would stop here after I registered.

    Default Good advice!

I'd already updated my "about me" section on eBid, but I hadn't included a URL in my sig. (have now).
I'm running my eBid stuff on a basic account (seller, not seller+), until I get some idea of how viable it's going to be, so there's no store as yet.
I'll be taking your advice on the e-mailing customers idea, that IS a good one.
My eBay shop currently has a large banner stating where I'm going, and why. So far, evilbay haven't pulled me up on this.
I remember the low feedback drought from when I launched my second eBay shop from scratch. Might have to but a couple of things to get it moving..

    Thanks, Ken.
