Might be a slightly grey area - but if you make a sock that fits an iPhone then it is specifically for that brand. The iPhone cases listed that use iPhone in the title are not an Apple product, but they are made specifically to fit an iPhone, which your socks would be.

Well that got a reaction, that's a good think, forums are for debate, so lets debate it.

If ebid were to make a bigger and wider effort to advertise and get rid of the non image listings while they were about it, now many of you would be prepared to list with a higher FVF percentage.
I for one don't really care if the percentage is 2% or 10%, because 2% of no sales makes me no profit, 10% of 100 sales is good business.

    It simply isn't good enough.

I'm not sure. I would happily give another % or two but not as much as the other side.
This is a great site for collectables but for my handmade stuff not so good, however the sites that specialise in handmade are too expensive and confusing to use.
I still think ebid would benefit from a hand crafted or handmade top level catagory. When I was running as a business I did advertise in craft magazines and had a good response for quite a small layout but I couldn't handle the amount of orders as it seemed no-one wanted the things listed but wanted similar items made specifically for them.
