Default Card Fraud - Halifax sorted it

Just recently I checked my online banking and noticed transactions, that were not authorized, phoned the bank and they have cancelled my card and have notified the police, These transactions involved hotels in france and dominoes pizza in Milton Keynes aswell as other places in Kidderminster and westminster, the cause of concern was apparent when I had apparently ordered a pizza from Dominoes in Milton Keynes but had also booked my hotel room in france on the same day as well as a hotel in USA,

So guys be aware check your account regularly and report and unusual transactions.

    *OUTCOME*
Bank has notified the police and cancelled my card and a full refund is heading my way

For your card to be used that widely suggests that your details have been sold multiple times via an international criminal "underground" website. Very often it is not just one set of information (such as your credit/debit card) that is sold. Depending on where your details were acquired it is possible that the criminals have more of your information. Give serious consideration to changing your online passwords, email accounts, bank access passwords etc.

It may not be the internet, it can be cloned from anywhere.
One of mine was cloned and used overseas, but that card was never used on line.
It was only used for petrol, stationary or meals, attached to a business account.
As stated previously, it is always wise to keep checking your statements.
