I'm a newbie, any advice welcome

Hi, i am new to this site and have found the forum very helful and members seem very friendly.

I have registered for seller+ and have opened a store after being on another auction sight for many years.

I have moved because of high fees.

I would welcome and appreciate any advise other seller have to offer.

Are there any major dos and don't that members have found that maybe helpful.

I'd suggest using the plug your auction thread, you can have one plug every 24 hours, but remember to delete any previous plug threads before starting a new one - my first sales came from there.

Make sure you tell your returning customers that you are now on eBid.

sucadot gives good advice about starting a "plug your auction" thread. It gives you more visibility to the people who read the forums.

I'm new to Ebid so am having a little draw back thinking whether i should go for seller+ and open stores or not. Does having a store require any technical issue like SEO? And can item listed here be found by Google search?

Nothing technical needed for opening a store, there are some HTV's on the help pages.

The most technical thing I had to do was think of a store name and design a logo.
