if you dont trust sites like facebook with your info then better disconnect your modem as everytime you visit a site your being tracked, browsing habbits noted etc etc....everytime you buy something online you give your info to a company that can sell it...thats life...its all about common scense...dont give out anything that will cause you grief..or can get you conned.

i find it very funny that the same people who dont trust sites with their privacy...will quite happily give a complete stranger on the phone or over the counter their bank details, DOB and address...which is 100times easier to fraud...hayho.

Stop posting and get on with this guide that you mentioned!

I'd really like to know what you know.

I've been using a blog effectively and to some extent PInterest. I've no idea how to use Facebook and every time I ask I get a resounding silence in response.

    Will look forward to it.

I rarely look at my Facebook account at the moment.

I do keep looking at my Adsense account though to see if I've earned another penny or two.

Shows what motivates me I suppose.

Yes I can't believe the paranoia of some people with Facebook.

I have never read of Facebook being caught passing information on.

I also think that the people who dont use Facebook are missing out on a valauble way of communication with friends and family etc.

But I have been caught by some retailer who I gave my credit card detalls to to scammers.

But its up to every one to decide what they do on their pc.

I have a friend and all he does it look at Youtube that's all he ever does, look at Youtube.

I regularly make contact with at least 50 people a day to stay in touch...my phone bill would be huge if I called all of them, especially as more than a few friends live in the USA and Australia

Just like to thank everyone who entered the poll.My reason for it is totally unconnected to ebid but it did give me some helpful figures.
For those who are interested,it indicated that about 50% of forum members use facebook.
I'll close the thread now, thanks once again.
