A diagram of the inner workings of a British loo.

Seriously, I have no idea. Have you tried Googling heraldic symbols or maybe heraldic motifs?

Best wishes for many sales to all,

It is very similar to the Queen's Award for Export Achievement.

My posts only state my own opinions, unless I've stolen them from someone else

On what did you find it? That would help.
I am thinking engineering or watches because of the cogs - wheels turning all directions & royally approved?

Ahh, a google with that and I found that the award you mention is identical in every way but the mine has a T instead of the E (and no date).

Thanks for the help. Its actually one of a pair of cuff links, both have the T in the middle. I found them in a collection of stuff with books dating back to 1795 and up to 1985. All sorts of stuff. I went though the books ages ago and have only just got round to trying to shift the other things.

The second link in the post above yours shows the design with the 't' in the middle
