Dear (buyers name)
Thank you for your purchase of (enter item purchased here) on 30th December 2010, I can confirm this item was posted out to you on 31st December 2010, please bear in mind that 31st December was a bank holiday which also included dates 1st, 2nd and 3rd January 2011, Please bear in mind that during December the UK had some adverse weather conditions, which affected deliveries in and out of the UK, therefore your purchase may have been delayed due to the back log of post that the UK Royal Mail are having to deal with. I would be grateful if you could consider this and maybe alter the feedback once you have received your item.
The delays caused by the Adverse Weather conditions are beyond my control and I can not guarantee that the postal system will deliver your item first before they clear the backlog, If however you have not received your item by the end of January, please feel free to contact me and I will offer a full refund.
I also notice that you promptly left me negative feedback on 15th January, The UK Post would have been picked up on the 4th January and due to the backlog of post would probably not have even left the UK until probably 10th January, taking into consideration the delivery times and going through customs the items probably would not even have arrived in the USA until Friday 14th January.
Yours sincerely
