Hope all is OK, that sounds nasty, kind of like the hurricane related messes we have over here from time to time.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

Hahaha thank you all - you've all helped by giving me a laugh anyway. I'm fine, the car runs (if a little squelchily) and the worst of the mud's gone from downstairs. Plenty of folks have it much worse, poor wotsits. Several shops under water with trashed stock. No doubt plenty of cleaning to do around the place tomorrow, but for now I'm done except for throwing everything I'm wearing in the washing machine and soaking in the bath for the next hour! So don't panic if I'm gone a while.

Sorry to hear of the flooding in your area Kim but glad you are well and in such good spirits. I wish you and your friends & neighbours a speedy end to the situation without any loss of life, after all possessions can be replaced. Disasters like this help us all put things into perspective.Enjoy your bath Lass xx

Now if eBid did sweatshirts she'd definitely have been wearing that in this weather.
