    Default Queen of shops

Anybody see "Mary, Queen of Shops" on BBC2 last night. She certainly has some good expert advice for small businesses.

I've watched every episode, and her previous series on charity shops. Since I catch up via iplayer I haven't seen the latest episode yet. I think she's top notch. Not sure I'd ever want to go for a drink with her, but she really knows her stuff!

Somehow I missed the first series, will have to keep my eye out for repeats.

It's a brilliant series and agree with kimbo that she certainly knows her stuff. I never miss an episode. What I find amazing is that they ask her advice and then some go against it.

I love it, especially the charity shops series.
In this series, the bakers she tried to help in Raynes Park isn't too far from where i live, infact it's a couple of shops away from my dentist.
That woman didn't want to take her advice, the stupid woman.

Great show. I really enjoyed last weeks episode with the hippie couple and their "Under the Moon" home store. Hilarious stuff - not sure it was meant to be funny but well, just one look at the son behind the cash desk in his dressing gown !!!

Her business acumen is very sound, though I sometimes doubt her design ideas when it comes to remodelling some of the shops.
