Default What are your best Time-saving ideas??

OK - since I think most would agree that time one of our most valuable possessions....how about we post some of our BEST time-saving ideas here......

Here are a couple of mine:

When I make a casserole or other baked item, to save time and energy (electric and mine) I make a double batch. Bake both, then serve one, and let the other cool. It goes in the freezer to pop out and nuke in a week or two for a fast dinner.

When doing a shop, always add in a few extra non-perishable items that are on sale. Soon your pantry or linen/laundry closet will have extra on hand of soap, noodles, cat food, paracetamol, red wine, chocolate, or whatever you hope you don't unexpected run out of. Grat to be prepared for blizzards or company, or company that stays through a blizzard.....
    Ta-Ta for now!

If you were to train the dog to do the paper rounds by it self you would save even more time

I gave up trying to earn a serious living and just get by on what I can scrape together with little effort - I have loads more time now.

Sounds a lot like what I do...people ask me how many hours I work and I tell them I don't think anything I do is work...I just do lots of fun stuff and sometimes get paid

    Wink

What are my best time-saving ideas? Get someone else to do whatever needs doing! Mind you, there's no chance that will happen in my house. I find things get done twice as quickly if I do them myself.
