Thread: to join or not to join

Default to join or not to join

    Hi there

I am seriously considering taking up a lifetime membership, but can you honestly answer me, is it worth it?

I'd like an alternative to ebay but the cost of this site seems too good to be true and I'm not sure there are many buyers.

    Honest thoughts please.

Not a waste of money, you just need to work at it from what I've heard.
It takes a lot of tweaking here and there but I think its worth it.
Its just like getting used to other auction sites, different techniques work.

    Yes it is!
My feedback has all been earned on here over the last 12 months.
I have more than made my lifetime membership back.

I'm not sure there are many buyers.

The buyers are here! Maybe not in the numbers youre used to but some sellers are reporting increased sales all the time.
A lot of sales come from google search too, ( list with a BIN and your add goes into google).

Ebid is worth it, you should also realize that ebid is growing all the time. As ebay declines (for small sellers) ebid is growing.
    GO FOR IT!

I joined just over a year ago and have got my money back plus a lot more. you do have to work harder here, but it is so much more stress free and friendly. i find having a selection of different goods helps and reading all the fantastic advice from the forums!

By BIN do you mean Buy it now?

Thanks for the comments so far - keep them coming.

Dont put all your eggs in one basket.

Long term, you wont lose your 50 notes.

Depends if you rely on on-line sales to pay the bills - sales here will not happen overnight.
