Well...after today game against USA I think England probably need to wait a little more from 1966 to won something big...U.K. have very strong first league...Chelsea...Manchaster...Arsenal...Liverpoo l....but after all International players go out from each team...and after that stay only U.K. Players, today's 1:1 is good score...but no worries England will pass First stage but Quarter-Finals is probably real and Final stop for England...no offense for anybody but if anybody watch how Argentina play today this is Soccer...real Soccer...

fact.......... in 66 england won the world cup n how did theer 1st game go.............a bore draw v uruguay 0-0........

if u look at replays the ball moved ..............applauds green fer ownin upto his error

I was there for that - went to all 3 of our games.

Thought we deserved a point - but such is life.

had a blast though - We hired a club in Mayfair for 24 hours - 8 am to 8 am - just for us!!

Yeah to be fair the Scots gave us a good game that day - heart was in my mouth when we gave the penalty away. I was right behind the goal at that end.


If I remember correctly Scotland played Holland at Villa Park in that tournament? I had a cracking night out with fans from both sides. If you were anywhere near PJ's Moon and Sixpence bar on that night I might have even met you in a 'previous' life.

Not so very long ago, Holland were possibly the best side to watch. Always skillful and entertaining. I've just watched the first half of their game against neighbours Denmark. Now I've turned the TV off to find something interesting to do. (But I've ended up here instead!)

i dont mind the noise of the vuvuzelas at all.

Fully expected it after the confederations cup last year.

Every country has its own ways of attending football - the vuvuzela is taken to all games in SA.

Gotta be better than what we will get if England win the bid for 2018.......the constant chanting of ''your gonna get your *** head kicked in''
