Ah... interesting. I see from that, that some of the code I'd nicked earlier wasn't yours, but when I viewed the source it appeared to be so. Hmmm... the thit plockens.

True...but I have never seen the point in using a CSS file for a single page. I either put it at the top or, as in this case, inline. That by itself does not make 'bad HTML' - just a little untidy to the purists.

If you take your template file, strip the html header/footer to just leave the section code as it goes into your listing, and display that it looks fine. However, now try typing "here's some more text" or anything else at the very end, and display it. See where that appears? This is what's happening to the code that ebid puts after your description - in this case the "more from this seller" section.

Something in your code isn't properly closed or aligned, but I don't know what yet.

Does that give you enough of a clue?

As far as I remember XHTML unlike HTML sees tags in uppercase differently from those in lowercase. Lowercase should be the norm.

How did you validate it XHTML Transitional?

    Try http://validator.w3.org/#validate_by_input+with_options

it will let you validate part of a document, so you can check just your template, without having to use doctype declarations or html or body tags.

Hmmm...Still looks fine in Frontpage but written out to a file it does show the added text part way up the page.

Fresh start tomorrow I think. My head has had enough of it for today.

If you take out the thumbnails header row it fixes it. So I guess it's in there somewhere. In case you want a quick look before you collapse in a heap.

Sorry. Not sure of what you mean. I wasn't aware there was a table header row defined in the file and I can't see one. Can you give me a bit of surrounding code so I can find it?
