Some considerable time ago I set up a Blog for my books stuff... made a few posts, then barely touched it.

Now it seems like a wasted resource, so I've rejuvenated it, linked from my information site front page, and posted an eBid blurb. You can see this at http://www.bykimbo.blogspot.com/

I'm a bit of a blog numpty, but I believe it's possible to link to other blogs, on related topics, and maybe have "blog chums" or something?

I don't do social networking sites like facebook, but I'd be happy to add some of that sort of linking up via my blog... any bloggers out there writing about ebid want to be a link? Or tell me what I need to do?

You can also add comments to blogs, which you're welcome to do. I think I can remove anything too filthy.

Any other suggestions about what I should be doing to improve my blog exposure!? Ta!

I've had a quick read and it sums up ebid and its community to a T.

That said - I'm not a facebook or blog person either - and wouldn't know what to do with a blog if I had one.

I commend you on your initiative and knowledge of the workings that are outthere available to be used to benefit ebid and out little corners of it.

Get a Feedjit counter , it will tell you where are your blog visitors coming from and where are they going. That way you will see if anyone is visiting your store through your blog. If you go to my blog, www.molly-in-the-north.blogspot.com, you can click on my counter and it will take you to the counters site so you can create your own

I don't think there's any point in a comparison to Twitter - they do very different things, in very different ways, each good.

I have to confess I haven't updated my blogs for ages.

This week is gong to be far too hectic to do anything, but I will try to make a concetive effort next week to do somethign with them.

I have 1 blog for games and modelling, 1 for music and dancing, 1 which is random nonsense and 1 which was supposed to be about Ebid.......Apathy go the better of me though.
