Just had a peek, a bit cheeky, I feel sure it is not allowed to advertise in that way.

This could be unintentional. I copied and pasted a description from over yonder for a listing here, and was shocked to find that the Auctiva scrolling bit had come along for the ride. The lister may not know.

I too did that last week. My "dark side" profile came through via SSB. Luckily I asked people to check my listings and they spotted it.
Personally I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and inform them. I was gutted when I found out and removed it immediately.

Maximum £7.50 postage to the UK no matter how much you buy.

Ditto! But I had no idea until I checked the listing for something else and found it staring me in the face. LOL

If it wasn't allowed I was going to message the seller and see if they knew about it.I don't think it's right to report someone without talking to them first,as you alll said it could be a mistake, and we all make plenty of those I'll message the seller and see if I get a reply. Thanks for all your replies,

I had a number of items running, where I had cut & pasted Auctiva listings from eBay (to get 20+ photos). I contacted support as references to Auctiva being an eBay tool appeared on expanded jpegs.

Supports answer is: "Yes this would be a problem. Effectively, using eBid.net as a vehicle or platform that advertises our competitor. Can you correct. We appreciate the email."

    So now we know!
