Default Google - Are Your items shown This Weekend ?

    As From 1st December 2009
    (Just In Time For Christmas)
Exporting auctions in Google Base format will be unavailable.

Now I would like to do a silly survey

Please Note. This is for Sellers whose Items Are Uploaded by ebid

Those of us that upload our own will presumably be on 100%

I know you are all busy,
but I would like to know how effective ebids upload to Google is

In my past experience I have found doing the upload myself more effective

So over this weekend as most people get their Monthly wages

and if you have the time,

could you do a check on how many of your BIN's are actually listed on Google.

    Please Prove Me Wrong

And Thank You For Your Time And Trouble

As stated on another thread mine are all over the place. It seems every time I list a new items all Google entries get deleted and freshly uploaded. So one minute all my items are there and the next they have nearly all vanished again.

Mind you...I fully expected such when we were forced to relinquish control of our own submissions.

On the plus side, the shop name seems to have improved. I'm now seeing "eBid - eBid Widgets by Ki..." for mine. That I chose all that blurb before reaching the Kimbo is my fault.

doing a search on google products.co.uk under a brand name i sell. 9 of the 16 items i currently sell under that name are showing i cant figure why 7 are not showing, this has been the case for a few weeks, it would appear the same items are re uploaded ie the 9 the other 7 have been uploaded in the recent past, i opted back in to ebid uploading my listings months ago,so in my case i dont think this is relavant to me, although some of the 7 items stopped showing on google products when google stopped indevidual uploads independent of ebid,3 of the 7 items not showing are very popular ie lots of other web sites including feebay have these items listed on there sites there items are uploaded to google it would be interesting to know if other ebid members who sell popular items have noticed a similar pattern

All mine are back on again now - with the exception of the cigarette case which, for some unknown reason, eBid refuses to submit. As said...it looks like when you list a new item eBid resubmits everything rather than just the new item. This causes all existing items on Google to close and then be resubmitted for inclusion - which takes time. So every time you list a new item you remove all your existing items from view for a period.

If that is indeed what is happening then it seems to be a bad procedure for the seller, Google and eBid. For the latter two it means unnecessary processing and for the seller a loss of exposure.

I'll check tonight, but I don't like not having control over our own listings. We have had items, that for no apparent reason, Google just does not like, such as anything by Stella McCartney!! Then again sometimes they do - all very random.
Pique Antiques and Collectables for all kinds of interesting items - ceramics, books, programmes, first day covers, pictures etc etc

Tammy's Emporium for all kinds of useful home, garden and leisure products.

I seem to have everything but two items listed.... Doing a search for my shop name. Although I'm not sure if this many are always listed.
I'm normally just worried about how high up my various listings are.
