I don't know how you would do it but you may want to try adding an update poster, so that it posts to the members walls after so many new stores are added. With a list and links if possible. It would just spread the word to their friends, rather than just being an ebid members club, which a lot of these can become.
I started up an EBIDDERS GROUP on facebook a few weeks ago.. so far only 7 members. Please feel free to join the group and post links to your store or leave me your email address and I will send you an invite.
Today I laid the groundwork for this link to Facebook and my Ebid Store but I am uncertain as to how much it will benefit me. I am not a Facebook user because I have barley enough time to manage my online auctions. If I activate my account will it automatically drive people to my Ebid store or do I have to take a social interaction to sell and promote myself?
I have been looking at the ebid groups on facebook and facebook itself and the use of it for promotion and I still don't see how it is going to work (please someone correct me if I am wrong.) the groups as far as I can tell are made up of ebid members and have no way to promote themselves or ebid across the world of facebook.
So the simple answer is no I doubt it will automatically bring in customers and yes I think you will have to find ways to interact with people to draw in customers.
Help, please! I can't find the correct link to the Facebook eBid page so I can add my stores...!!
Sent you the link through one of your items, as links seem to be getting removed from here and there does not seem to be a private message
