I listed the coin for my mother in law.postage i put special delivery...i noticed most peeps are sending them recorded delivery..but that only covers up to £36..or are coins not covered anyway ? i wanted to ensure good/secure postage..will special D put peeps off do you think ?

I wouldn't think special delivery would deter anyone. If the coin is valuable, buyers would expect something like that, I imagine.

no- i think youre right to list as special delivery and im pretty sure that recorded delivery doesnt cover money.

I would want special delivery if I was paying a high price for something. I think you are covered up to £500 with special delivery but not sure about coins as I've never sent any before. Maybe one of the coin sellers on here can advise you.
