I wouldn't worry too much about UK or USA measurements as there's a great site that does conversions, and I find it's quite accurate! I've surfed the American websites a few times (pumpkin pie... had in Boston a while back... beautiful... hmmm..) and finally made one for myself and it turned out quite well, albeit didn't last long though!

The trouble is I do a lot of my cooking the same way. and a lot of things are 'one-offs'

probably work out cheaper to use A4

by folders, do you mean binders? If so wouldn't they be a bit awkward to post, and costly due to the size. Perhaps you could use card or a laminated cover instead.

An alternative for those who aren't planning on adding to the collection once it's printed could be comb binding.

I don't do recipes, unless you mean reading the back of a sauce packet

Can I just suggest that buyer supplies their own folder/binder? it'll be cheaper to post. I for one have a stack of lever arch files which are currently not in use
