    Default No Automated Feedback Request!

Unless there is an option for the seller/buyer to back out of this, I don't want it. I don't chase feedback, if I receive it fine, if I don't also fine. I'm here to sell my items and quite happy when the transactions run smoothly, regardless if feedback is left or not. It's supposed to be optional, not mandatory.

If a buyer is sending me a check in the mail plus the fact, once I receive it, I have to put it in the bank then wait up to 15 business days for it to clear - my buyer will get pretty annoyed if they keep receiving automated feedback requests every 7 days, especially if I haven't sent the item yet.

Communication between seller & buyer can go very sour if the automated feedback system is in place. Get rid of it please.

    Thank you
    ~Jan~

If this is not optional, allowing the seller to opt out - switching it on and off - not opting out for each sale - then it will be a disaster.

Gazza, we have dozens and dozens of ideas for you to upgrade the site. Why did you pick this one which no-one has asked for? Some of us have been selling online for years and have a pretty shrewd idea of how we need the site to run to maximise customer happiness. ASK US! PLEASE!

You have huge customer loyalty (look at the Buildaskill forums - offered the chance to post shop links, ebidders have posted more than all other sites put together), don't drive us away!

To me that would sound like begging - not very professional (in my opinion).

    Wrong, I'm afraid. It's compulsory.

I certainly don't want it. I NEVER ask for feedback and I would hate the site to ask for it on my behalf, and if the customer is pestered every week, they might give negative Feedback just to get rid of the recurring emails

I do like the relist and delete options that give details of all auctions deleted and relisted and also the fact that there is a check that you have to click on before deleting and re listing, that is an improvement
Do you need some wicks for your oil lamp or paraffin heater? then Why not visit my Ebid store http://uk.ebid.net/stores/The-Mouse-Trap
