They were not available in Canada for sellers anyway. Guess all them people that were thrashing PP and promoting google can eat a little crow now. (if you eat enough it doesn't taste too bad after awhile.)

Spitting crow feathers here - I can't believe that Google have been so crass as to match PayPoo's fee structure so precisely without making a percentage point or few cents/pennies difference to keep the competitive edge. Far too overconfident in their own market share now, I guess. Bah!

Small sellers get it in the neck again - membership of the small business federation (uk), and the associated discount on direct cc/d card processing for those of us who have websites too is beginning to look worth the money.

    An extremely sulky,

Take up on Google has been excellent for me here. It's the most popular method. That's why I'm spitting tacks. I've been encouraging people to use it, and they've been listening to me (and others)... Bah!

Same as that, I also offered discount for those using Google Checkout. I even use it to pay for stuff on other sites that took it. ebuyer and some some others.

    Very disappointed.

I shall still keep it as an option but will now plug direct bank transfer.

Maybe its on the cards that feebay will accept Google as a Payment option , and the price for this is to charge the same as Paypal.
I never expected the charge to remain low but thought they would be a bit cheaper than the established competition.
Most annoying thing for me with Google when i have money in credit wont let me use it when i purchase something have to use the card.
