Default So long monthly fees, you won't be missed!!

I'm so glad I came on here and shut down on GreedBay. Was tired of selling nothing for whatever amount of time and still having to pay fees which just ate away at my profit margins.

Now on eBid, I can list for free, or pay a one-off fee. My eBid has cost me very little to run the past 3 months compared to what I faced paying on GreedBay - around £100.00 per month with a lack of sales!

Ok, things are slow right now. I've only sold two items, but I'm cheekily advertising on Greedbay at a cost of £1.60 per month haha, so hopefully, I'll reign in some regular GreedBay buyers here instead, especially as they'll save a fortune with me on here rather than paying rip-off prices for the same items I have in stock on GreedBay.

So, how is everyone doing now you're not paying out excessive fees every month? Bet you can all breathe now and not worry about finding the money to pay those GreedBay fees. If anyone thinks GreedBay is unsinkable, they said that about the Titanic..

Ooh, and the fees I've not been paying on GreedBay for the past 3 months have bought me stock instead hehe

Yep, it does take a bit of adjustment, doesn't it lol! I'm a bit bogged down servicing sales on my website atm, but I have a tottering pile of stuff to list here when I get a minute. Certainly with the huge drag factor of the Other Place's fees being removed, as compared to last Xmas, has likewise allowed me to buy stock quickly as it sells and keep up with demand.

I think folk are being very careful with their pennies, so researching free advertising, and looking at your SEO and price points will pay dividends.

You lot had better watch out you don't get the debt collectors knocking on your door for those fees haha. Just imagine what it would have cost you on GreedBay - ouch!

My total fees for last month on eBid were - ZERO!

I wonder how we'll all cope with such low fees hehe

My fees have been zero on here for a few months, likewise my sales.
Ebay might be a pain in the backside but it still has no real competition.

My fees here last month were £42!!

My own fault, I had some that were featured auctions and also had extras like subtitles and 2nd photo... couple that with variable auction time lengths the money added up because each time they reposted, so did the extra fees!
