Welcome, Alcollectabilia.

There will be other that will give you links and other ways to do it but I found it easiest to open ebid in a second internet window. Highlight the URL for my store, copy and paste it here. Go to User CP at top of this page and edit signature (paste)

Hope this is helpful. It isn't the most techinal way but hey it worked.

how do outside links work I have been looking and noticed you can have links in the drop down on the left below your name,
Where can you put outside links on and what is permitted

Yourl ink in your drop down on name is not linked to your store make sure you put the right URL in,
Links to websites cannot be ecommerce, or other auction sites as I understand even as there is many on here have links on there dropdown where there name is and on the post as I had bad post unintentionly and was ridiculed and got slightly out of hand.
if you have your own website.and do not have it ecommerce thats fine put a link to eBid and your stores here.

You could consider "pimping" your stuff by using the auction plug forum. This is a forum specifically for advertising your wares to other ebidders. There are rules, so you need to read those (posted at the top of the forum) before you start. Some find it useful, but opinions vary so take a look yourself and make your own decision.
