Default Has anyone managed to close an Eb*y account?

I posted this once already.... and then delete it because I assumed that I'd broken some posting rules due to the response that I received from a particular member.

I would say to that member that if you don't like the question, don't respond to it, so far as I can tell it doesn't break any posting rules and I'm trying to get some information that I believe some people here would be able to supply.

I'm asking this here because there are a lot of ex-Eb*y sellers here... and posting it on the Eb*y forums seems a bit pointless as the people with the answers will not be able to answer because they're no longer members...

    So...

I tried to close my Eb*y account, and got an email saying I had to pay my outstanding fees first, fair enough, so I paid them straight away, since then nothing seems to have happened and I get no response from my emails... is this normal... any ideas?

    They probably have a backlog!!

Why not just leave your account doemant for a while - you don't have to use it to stay registered, and it might be useful if you just want to buy!
Why not take a quick look at my Stores?

Find all kinds of books HERE

    Find 'Plus Size' Clothes HERE

Find NEW tiny Baby Stuff HERE

    Find 'Bits & Bobs' HERE

LOL thanks both of you... it's just that what is 'supposed' to happen, doesn't seem to be, i.e. restricted access, etc... but if that is 'normal' when people are closing their accounts then I'll leave it to take it's course...

Coastal, I am not sure where, but I am sure that I've read somewhere on their help pages that an account must have had no "movement" (i.e. sales, purchases, feedback) for 60 days before it can be closed. Was trying to find it, but as usual when you want it you can't find it.

Okay, I have only found some vague references to time scales. I don't mind as long as I know it's happening, it's just that my account still seems fully functional, and that seems to be wrong... if you do find any other info I'd be grateful.

    Thanks.
