I don't really know much about Flickr, I thought it was just for sharing photos and that type of thing, is it just a case of uploading photos of your items and doing as the above post suggests to promote ebid and your stores? Having never used it I don't really know how it works.
I wouldn't have thought of using it to promote ebid or my store but it might be worth a try.

You can only promote indirectly. You're not supposed to be listing stuff that's for sale. With my photostream I, in effect, donate my photos to anyone who wants to use them. It doesn't matter to me, the items are sold and I'll get some publicity in return. I do link to my blog (under construction) which will have extensive links to eBid (especially my buddy points sign-up page). I now get a lot of requests from people to add my photos to their groups and my pictures are appearing in blogs all over the place. Over 9,000 hits so far (obviously not all human) but presumably that will grow, a lot, as I add more pictures. http://www.flickr.com/photos/sellingonebid/

The Group "Look what sold on ebid" could do with more activity. We know the sales are happening.

Oh dear, I have overtaken you all. My own personal photostream is now bigger than all your groups! :D:p
See what I sold on eBid here - http://www.flickr.com/photos/sellingonebid/
Seems to be bringing in some traffic to my listings.

Kedo, we try to admire you and aim to emulate you. If you are smug, we will start to dislike you ;)

Smug.........me!
How could you think such a thing?
Just wanted to spur you all on to action! :D
