The thing to remember about Tamebay is that Chris and Sue who run it have the folowing on their profiles: Occupation: eBay Consultant, Trainer & Powerseller so their loyalties lie with the other side, and i suspect some of the posters too - had to laugh at post 44 on the first link "our ebay fees are often £1000s and worth every penny, in fact they are ridiculously cheap compared to some bricks & mortar auction rooms"
Ebid admin have always kept away from these self appointed review type sites, and in my view they are all the more professsional for doing so :)
Quite - and fishing for a couple of Seller+ freebies to tamebay smells, urrr, fishy; presumably they want 'em so they can sign up and then bitch extensively :: snurk ::
As to the second post - tork abaht headline manipulation! Since when did eBaaa pay anything but lip-service to nutting the counterfeit market; they increased it by their abortive attempt to challenge AliBaba, inviting in every Far Eastern knock-off agent with free fees etc, leaving monitoring to vigilant users and their gestapo-like Vero programme. If they're in the 'Fight', it's only because they were forced, and then it has been poorly, and often unjustly, executed by an administrative staff operating at the bottom of the Bell Curve.
Tazbar, like eBid, have learned this lesson, and have been extra vigilant from the get-go. 'Join eBaa in Fight' indeed! Bah! Humbug!
