Hahaha! That's easy. The rare, almost extinct, Marcus Sharpis Greater and Lesser Spotted Gyro Waddles.
The one on the right is a giraffe, but the one on the left has me stumped.
One!
We need address the grammatical problem of the phrase "while going to the river." The construction makes it unclear whether the rabbit(one) or the elephants (six) are going towards the river. A similar ambiguity occurs in the very next sentence. Other computational problems result from both.
Taking everything literally:
a) ONE rabbit is going towards the river;
b) TWELVE monkeys are going towards the river;
c) ONE parrot is being carried - the same parrot by all twelve monkeys (poor thing).
d) FOURTEEN is the grand total from the grammar.
e) It might be FOUR if the same monkeys are being seen...or even FIVE! LOL
Of course, we have the possibility that some wiseacre will decide that a bird is not an animal....hmmm - rubbish of course!
All I can say is that had one of my students turned in something like this, I'd have sent him for a remedial course!
Nice one, Annie!! :D
