Affiliate marketing & RSS combination

Perhaps some of the money could be given to an eBidder who is able to set this up (jimbo springs to mind ;))
Well said TC. In my opinion the current affiliate programme has no real appeal to website owners for numerous reasons, lack of a live feed being only one of them. The RSS idea is a good idea, there is no denying that fact, but I would assume that it would be part of the technical development of the site and not funded by a marketing & advertising budget. When looking at how much other sites spend on generating new 'customers' I think we should be looking at comparing 'costs per sign-up' with whatever statistics we already have available. eBid management will know by now how many new buyers/sellers that their £2,000 worth of ad-words is generating, we don't. I believe that what they are asking for is how WE would spend the £2000 in order to generate new members/buyers/sellers so they can compare the figures. As an example, if I said that it cost an average of £50 per person 'recruited' to join my site, it would mean that £2,000 would 'afford' me 40 new members. The question, I think, is, how many active new members could you generate from £2,000 and how would you do it?
